Loop

Terms of Use

Last updated 3 November 2026

These terms apply when you use the Loop app. Loop is operated by Luis Pedro Rodrigues (Portugal). Contact: alturagroup.hq@gmail.com. By using Loop you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you download Loop from Apple's App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where the two differ, these terms add to it.

What Loop is

Loop helps you keep track of subscriptions, their renewal dates and what they cost, and lets you record how shared plans are split with people you choose. Loop is an organising tool. It does not pay, cancel or manage subscriptions with any provider, and it does not move money between people. "Paid", "Received" and "Confirmed" marks are records you keep; they do not prove that a payment happened.

Accuracy

Prices, renewal dates, typical prices shown during setup, logos and totals are estimates based on what you enter or what providers publish. Always check charges with the provider and your bank. Reminders and calendar events are scheduled on your device and may not arrive (for example if notifications are off, Focus is on or the device is offline). Loop is not financial advice.

Your account

You sign in with Apple or Google. Keep access to that account secure; you are responsible for activity under your Loop account. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required where you live, to use Loop.

Sharing with others

When you share a plan, the people you invite can see that plan's name, logo, price, billing dates, each person's share, payment marks and your name and profile photo. Only invite people you know and who expect to hear from you. Don't use Loop to harass anyone or to record other people's information without a good reason.

Loop Plus

Loop is free to use with limits. Loop Plus unlocks more, as a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase, through Apple's App Store. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends; Apple charges your Apple Account. A free trial, when offered, becomes a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel before then. Manage or cancel any time in your device's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. We may sometimes give Loop Plus for free for a period; such grants can end as stated when given.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse Loop: no attempts to access other people's data, to break or overload the service, to reverse engineer it beyond what the law allows, or to use it for anything unlawful. There is no tolerance for objectionable or abusive content: plan names and profile photos must not be offensive, sexual, hateful, threatening or spam.

Reporting and blocking

On any plan shared with you, tap ⋯ to report it or to block the person who shared it. Blocking removes their plans and stops new ones from reaching you. We review reports within 24 hours and remove offending content and accounts. You can also email alturagroup.hq@gmail.com.

Your content

What you enter stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run Loop for you and the people you share with, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can delete your account and its data in the app at any time.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Loop available, but it may sometimes be unavailable or change. We may update features, limits or these terms. If changes are significant we'll let you know in the app or on this page before they take effect. If you keep using Loop after that, the updated terms apply.

Liability

Loop is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for charges, missed renewals or disagreements between people that come from relying on Loop. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

Ending use

You can stop using Loop and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without depriving you of protections given by the law of the country where you live. Questions or complaints: alturagroup.hq@gmail.com.
